About traveling with Cornell alumni, family, friends, and sometimes faculty

Cornell Alumni Travel and CAU Study Tours give you the chance to take truly extraordinary journeys in really good company. While CAU tours are about learning on location from leading Cornell faculty, Cornell Alumni Travel specializes in culturally immersive tours. Tours with and without faculty are always led by expert tour directors from award-winning travel partners, may be accompanied by a Cornell staff host, and always feature local guides. And of course, Big Red conviviality is a hallmark of every trip.

(Unless otherwise noted, our tours do not include faculty.)
Look for “CAU” (Cornell’s Adult University) to learn about tours that feature Cornell faculty.
Look for “CAU Select” for tours that feature faculty from peer institutions (not Cornell).

Can't make our dates?

While we’d love to travel with you, we understand if you need to go at a different time. Our partner travel companies are always traveling and can most likely accommodate your preferred timing. Just give them a call to book your tour directly and don’t forget to tell them Cornell sent you!

About scheduling

  • Alumni Affairs books multiple events and travel opportunities each year. Given the complexities of event management and booking, we are unable to avoid all national holidays and holy days as we plan. However, we make every effort to offer our events at different times throughout the year, and to schedule recurring events in different time frames year over year, to ensure the greatest opportunity for people of all backgrounds to attend at some time.

Travel and safety policy

  • We're so excited to travel with you! Make sure you read the travel and safety policy for important information about all Cornell Alumni Travel opportunities.
