Parking permits

A designated lot will be reserved for Cornell Volunteer Summit guests. Limited permits will be available for purchase at a rate of $5.56 per day for Wednesday, October 14–Friday, October 16. More instructions for how to purchase a permit will be available here soon. Parking on weekends are free in most parking lots unless signage or special events indicate otherwise.

Getting around campus

Courtesy vehicles will be available throughout the Summit programming to take guests to various sessions. To take advantage of this service, sign up with our representative in the Statler Hotel throughout the weekend.

Thursday, the State of the University and reception shuttle will be available to take guests from the Statler Hotel Circle to the Meinig Fieldhouse for both events. The shuttle will also make a stop at the designated parking lot.

Carpooling, rideshare services, and hotel shuttles (where available) are recommended while classes are in session during the week. Nighttime and weekends are free, and have available parking in most campus lots. Please follow campus signage.

Friday night drone show road, building, and parking lot closures

For the safety and security of our community, select roads, buildings, and parking lots will be closed during the lead-up to and during the Friday night drone show. Signage will be posted around campus to indicate closures. Allow extra time on Friday evening to travel on campus.
