Cornell Cares: Empowering our host city's community through service

The Cornell Gives Back Service Project presents a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in each year’s host city! During the 2025 Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference and PCCW Symposium, we will be partnering with Unite for Her. 

Unite for HER is a 501(c)3 national nonprofit organization that supports breast cancer and ovarian cancer patients by providing integrative therapies, services, education, resources, and support at no personal cost. Their mission is to enrich the health and well-being of those diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers – for life – by funding and delivering integrative therapies.

Join us in bringing comfort to those battling cancer in partnership with Unite for HER nonprofit organization. Donate cozy, new socks at one of our Cornell Engagement Stations. You’ll have the opportunity to pair them with an encouraging note to lift spirits and warm hearts. Your kindness helps provide much-needed warmth and emotional support to patients during treatment . Pack a pair of socks with you to donate and we’ll provide all the materials you need to craft a message of hope. Together, Cornell can make a meaningful difference, one pair of socks at a time.

The Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference (CALC) is an annual event that brings together Cornell alumni from all over the world to network, learn, and share ideas. The conference provides a unique opportunity for alumni to connect with each other, as well as with university leaders, faculty, students and staff. Through a series of keynote speeches, workshops, and panel discussions, attendees can explore a range of topics related to leadership and innovation.

Every year, we thoughtfully design the CALC program to empower our alumni to become leaders in their communities, professions, and industries. The conference addresses a range of topics, such as:
