- Download the Duo Mobile app on a smartphone or tablet.
- Set up your NetID account to connect with Duo Mobile.

Why we’re making this change
Requiring two-step login for all NetID accounts helps improve security.
What systems this affects
Anywhere you log in to a Cornell system with your NetID is affected by this change. NetID logins are required for things like:
- Accessing your Cornell email
- Accessing the alumni directory
- Setting up email aliases
- Requesting official transcripts
- and more!
