Location and lodging

  • Where is TCAM held?

Each fall, TCAM takes places on Cornell’s Ithaca campus. TCAM check-in will be held on the 1st floor of The Statler Hotel in the Conference Foyer, 130 Statler Dr, Ithaca, NY 14853.

Sessions will take place across campus, so we suggest bringing comfortable shoes, an umbrella, and a rain jacket in case of inclement weather typical of Ithaca.

  • We pre-booked four lodging options with special TCAM 2023 rates. Book by Tuesday, September 19, 2023, to secure the discounted rate. Check out our location and lodging page for more information.

If you'd like to make your own accommodations, there are plenty of wonderful places to experience the warm hospitality of Ithaca during TCAM, such as upscale hotels to charming bed and breakfasts. Check out other places to stay.

Note: The Statler Hotel is reserved for members of the Board of Trustees, Presidential Councillors, current year Frank H. T. Rhodes Alumni Award Recipients, and certain members of the Administrative Board of the Cornell University Council only.

Planning ahead for TCAM

  • Be ready for the fall weather with mid-50s to mid-60s Fahrenheit temperatures. Pack versatile layers, comfortable shoes, a medium-weight jacket, and rain gear. Remember business attire, chargers, and a notebook. Stay hydrated with a reusable water bottle while networking and attending sessions.

  • What should I wear to TCAM?

Most people dress business casual throughout the weekend. The seated Friday dinner tends to be a bit more dressy. We have scheduled a break before dinner in case you would like to change beforehand. If you are going to the football game on Saturday, be prepared for all of the weather and bring your Cornell swag!

  • Will I receive an itinerary?

Yes, an updated version of your confirmation email will be sent to you. This updated email will encompass the sessions for which you have successfully registered.

  • Will there be a limit on TCAM session attendance?

There will not be a cap on overall attendance. Please note that certain optional tours and special College & Unit lunches may have limited capacity. Register early to ensure your spot!

  • The Cornell versus Brown football game will start at 1:00 p.m. ET, Saturday, October 21st at Schoellkopf Field, 513 Campus Rd. Visit the Cornell Athletics website to learn more, including how you can stream the game live, get the latest stats, purchase tickets, or review team history.

  • Can I charge my electric vehicle on campus?

Yes, please check out Facilities and Campus Services' Guide to Electric and Green Vehicle Parking.
