PCCW Symposium 2026 FAQ’s

When does PCCW Symposium officially begin and end?

Symposium 2026 opens to PCCW members on Friday, February 6 beginning at 10:30 a.m. for the PCCW All-Member Photo and ends on Saturday, February 7 at noon. Cornell Mosaic members are invited to attend sessions on Friday, February 6, beginning with the luncheon at 12:00 p.m. and concluding with the reception ending at 7:00 p.m.

Optional sessions for PCCW members take place throughout the event.

Events specific to Steering Committee members (PCCW executive leadership, committee leadership, and appointed members) take place in the afternoon/evening on Thursday, February 5.

 

What is the deadline to register for Symposium?

Advanced registration will be accepted online until Monday, January 26, by 11:59 p.m. ET. Walk-ins will be accepted, online registrations preferred.

 

What is the registration cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 15 days or more in advance of the event date, by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21st, will receive a 100% refund. Need to cancel? Please get in touch with us at pccw@cornell.edu.

 

Guest Attendance

PCCW and Cornell Mosaic are membership-based organizations. Members of these organizations are the invited participants and intended audience. Guests and alumni outside of these organizations cannot attend at this time.

 

Transportation and Parking

The JW Marriott is one block away from President’s Park and the White House. The hotel is in close proximity to the Metro Center (6-minute walk, 3-minute drive) and Federal Triangle (9-minute walk, 3- minute drive) Metro stations.

Hotel Parking Rates:
Valet Daily Parking: $72.00
Valet Parking per night: $ 72+tax/Oversize $82 +tax Max Height 76″.
Late Departure Charge: $72+tax at 4pm +18% DC Tax

JW Marriott Washington, DC does not have an airport shuttle to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Uber/Lyft are readily available.

 

Symposium Check In/Information Area

The Symposium check-in and Information Desk will be available in Capital Foyer at the JW Marriott.

Symposium Check-in hours are Friday, February 6 from 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 7 from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

The hotel check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 12:00 p.m. Luggage can be stored at the hotel concierge desk.

Coat Check will be available in the Capital Foyer of the JW Marriott during the Symposium Registration hours

The drop off for community service household items will also be located near the Symposium Information Area.

 

Is there a restaurant onsite at the JW Marriott?

1331 Bar and Restaurant is open every day from 2:30- 11:30 p.m. The kitchen is open, and food is available until closing. Fun Fact! The Rickey cocktail was born in 1883 at Shoomaker’s Saloon—now the site of JW Marriott Washington DC.
