CALC Cares: Empowering our host city's community through service

The Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference (CALC) Gives Back Service Project presents a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in each year’s host city! During the 2025 Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference and PCCW Symposium, we will be partnering with Unite for Her to provide comfortable socks and encouraging messages to people battling breast and ovarian cancer.

Unite for HER is a 501(c)3 national nonprofit organization that supports breast cancer and ovarian cancer patients by providing integrative therapies, services, education, resources, and support at no personal cost. Their mission is to enrich the health and well-being of those diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers – for life – by funding and delivering integrative therapies.

The Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference (CALC) is an annual event that brings together Cornell alumni from all over the world to network, learn, and share ideas. The conference provides a unique opportunity for alumni to connect with each other, as well as with university leaders, faculty, students and staff. Through a series of keynote speeches, workshops, and panel discussions, attendees can explore a range of topics related to leadership and innovation.

Every year, we thoughtfully design the CALC program to empower our alumni to become leaders in their communities, professions, and industries. The conference addresses a range of topics, such as:
