On July 8, Cornell Outdoor Education (COE) friends, supporters, students, advisory board members, and alumni gathered to watch 89-year-old Jon Lindseth '56 climb the Lindseth Climbing Wall. Jon is the benefactor behind the wall, which is a central component of COE’s offerings. COE, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, is now the largest collegiate outdoor education program in the country.

The Frank H. T. Rhodes Exemplary Alumni Service Award honors exceptional alumni for their long-term volunteer service to Cornell. The 2023 recipients are: William H. Day ’59; Andrea E.
