Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) Practitioner

RTT® is a therapeutic approach that uses powerful, evidence-based techniques to provide people with the tools they need to make positive change.

The roots of RTT® are drawn from within areas of traditional psychotherapy such as gestalt, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy and mindfulness.

Its personalized approach works with clients to help them reframe any negative beliefs, values, habits and emotions – many of which they have carried with them since childhood.

Often, these have been so deeply buried in their subconscious that they are unaware of the past issues affecting them.

By giving the client the potential to alter the way they think and put an end to negative self-talk, they can approach life in a positive way and move forward.

Melissa Martin, Rapid Transformational Therapy® Practitioner, is on fire with her passion of helping others get relief from issues in their life through Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®). She has a gentle and intuitive way about her with being a massage therapist and energy worker for the past 20 years. Please book your online hypnotherapy session or purchase your gift card through the website.

A Novelette by Ron Pies ’74: The Unmoved Mover

I have authored a bit of a literary rarity—a novelette, which is usually defined as a fiction work of about 7,500 to 19,000 words.

My work, The Unmoved Mover tells the story of Judaic studies professor Aaron Shavoor and artist Rachel Gold, following a horrific school tragedy that overturns their world and unites them in bereavement. How does life go on after the worst occurs? How can two people who have experienced unspeakable loss find one another, and again find meaning in life? And who can ever believe in a benign and loving God, after such tragedy? Aaron’s and Rachel’s struggle to reclaim their lives points them to a kind of redemption–and perhaps also to love and self-forgiveness.

I call the work, “A Novelette of Redemption” for what I think are good reasons. I hope my fellow Cornellians will look for it on Amazon!

No Reason, a Novel

Want to read an “adventure, crime, and commentary on society” novel? It’s fiction, but it begins with the horror of 9/11 and builds from there on ethics, drugs, how society deals with problems, and more. Available on Amazon or Barnes and Noble, or have your local bookstore get it for you. No Reason by Laurence Ference ’73. Lsfcyborg@yahoo.com

Ecological Landscapes and Gardens: Thicket Workshop

A plant-focused design firm, Thicket Workshop crafts ecological landscapes and gardens in Ithaca, NY, and across the region.

We work at a variety of scales—from reimagining a family’s front yard as a pollinator bonanza, to planting a savanna on a city lot, to developing a plan for biodiverse habitat hedgerows on a 50-acre farm.

A commitment to ecology and allowing other species to thrive shapes our work. Plants can offer solutions: for habitat, for storm water, for cooling, for erosion. We also aim to spark wonder, curiosity, and joy—connecting people and plants, at home and in public spaces.

We offer in-person and virtual consultations.

Property Damage Claims Experts

At ClaimsAdvisor, we help you take control of your property insurance claim. Insurance companies may try to minimize your claim’s value, but with our expertise, you can navigate the process, protect your rights, and maximize your settlements. Unfortunately, insurance companies often use “delay, deny, and defend” tactics to minimize property damage claims. Without public adjusters, claimants may face denials or underpayments, realizing their property’s value is lower than expected. We assist in preparing for a proper settlement.

Get protected at ClaimsAdvisor.com.
