Turning Point Center for Women and Children

The Turning Point Center for Women and Children provides safe transitional housing and comprehensive support for young mothers and their children experiencing homelessness. Since opening in 2001, Turning Point has helped more than 450 families achieve stability through housing, counseling, and workforce development. In 2025, the program served 37 families, with participants staying an average of 19 months. Turning Point maintains a strong record of success—100% of graduates transitioned to permanent housing, 78% increased income by at least $150 per month, and 78% improved self-sufficiency scores—demonstrating lasting impact and independence.
