Welcome to the Cornell University Council!

The “Council” is an outstanding team of approximately 429 Elected Members and 412 Life Members who represent some of the University’s most engaged alumni and supporters.

Through volunteer service in more than 450 Cornell related communities ranging from PCCW, CACO, Mosaic, and advisory councils, to regional club organizers, guest lecturers and student mentors, and much, much more, members have helped to advance Cornell’s mission; to discover, preserve, and disseminate knowledge, educate the next generation of global citizens, and promote a culture of broad inquiry.

A community of leaders, a network of ambassadors.

As members of Council we seek to deepen our understanding of and connection to Cornell, and explore new ways to serve as an ambassador in our individual communities. I hope you will explore this site and the many related links to learn more.
