Cornell Asia-Pacific Leadership Conference (APLC)
The Cornell Asia-Pacific Leadership Conference (APLC) is Cornell’s annual signature volunteer event in the region that brings together Cornellians for an unforgettable weekend of exploration, inspiration, and vibrant Big Red spirit!
APLC is for anyone passionate about advancing leadership, fostering connections, and celebrating the global Cornell community. Join us to hear updates from the university, engage with inspiring faculty and alumni innovators, and collaborate with fellow Cornellians to make an impact. Together, we celebrate the extraordinary contributions of our Big Red community while creating opportunities to shape the future of Cornell in the Asia-Pacific region.
What is APLC?
Started in 2007 by a group of alumni volunteer leaders in Hong Kong, the Asia-Pacific Leadership Conference. APLC has evolved into a cornerstone event for Cornellians across the region. Now attracting more than 200 attendees from across the Asia-Pacific, APLC offers a unique opportunity for alumni to connect, collaborate, and contribute to the Cornell community. It’s a weekend that brings together university leaders, faculty, and alumni innovators to share insights, and inspire the next generation of leaders. With the dedicated partnership of Alumni Affairs & Development (AAD), Wendy Wolford, vice president for international affairs, and a local alumni host club, this dynamic event continues to foster connections, elevate leadership, and showcase the boundless potential within the Cornell family. Each year, the APLC reaffirms our commitment to global engagement, innovation, and alumni excellence. We look forward to continuing our partnership and creating a conference that reflects the passion and interests of our Asia-Pacific alumni!
