Come face to face with over 250 real spider specimens in Spiders — From Fear to Fascination. Cornell's resident arachnologist Dr. Linda S. When Cornell researcher Jordan Boersma traveled to Papua New Guinea’s Fergusson Island, he turned to the Indigenous community to help him find the elusive Auwo bird. Native guides helped him find and photograph the bird (last seen by Westerners in the 1880s) the very next day.
