Multiple generations connect at “Spirit of ’31—Passing It Forward” Ceremony
Alumni from the Classes of 1949, 1954, 1959, and 2019 kicked off Reunion celebrations together at the “Spirit of ’31—Passing It Forward” Ceremony. The annual ceremony welcomes young alumni leaders attending their first Cornell Reunion.
Reunion chair Martha (Coler) Risch ’49—wearing her junior blazer from her time as an undergrad—represented her 75th Reunion class, and presented the Class of 2019 banner to Troy Anderson ’19.
The event also featured a performance by the a cappella group the Hangovers, and remarks from Provost Michael I. Kotlikoff and Associate Vice President for Alumni Affairs Michelle Vaeth ’98.
