Martha Clark Mapes to receive Outstanding Class Leader Award at Reunion

Martha Clark Mapes ’48, MS ’49 is the recipient of the 2023 William “Bill” Vanneman ’31 Outstanding Class Leader Award. This prestigious award recognizes class officers who have provided long-term exemplary service to their class, as Bill Vanneman ’31 did so graciously for seventy-five years.

Martha is an Ithaca local and has been a Class of 1948 leader for decades. Read more about Martha and her contributions.

Martha will be recognized during Reunion on Saturday, June 10, as part of Cornelliana Night, which will be held this year in Bailey Hall and also livestreamed at our overflow location at the David L. Call Alumni Auditorium, Kennedy Hall.
