Join us for the third event in our Sustainability Series as we visit Southwest Wildlife for a unique Walk with Wildlife! Come take a guided tour of the sanctuary where you’ll get to meet some wild animal ambassadors. We may see mountain lions, black bears, coyotes, Mexican gray wolves, bobcats, coatis, foxes, deer, and more.

We’ll learn more about the work of this unique local resource. Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center (SWCC) rescues native wild animals that have lost their homes to development, or are found injured, orphaned, or abandoned. When possible, the animals in their care are rehabilitated and released — healthy and wild — back where they belong.

The fee is $28 for adults and $18 for kids 3-12. These fees go toward the care of the animals at the center. Children 2 and younger are free.

Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which is run by a handful of staff and many dedicated volunteers. The Center is funded solely through private donations, fundraising and grants. For more information about the organization, please visit their web site.

If 12 or more paying Cornellians sign up for this program, this tour will be exclusive to our group. Tours go on rain or shine except in the case of extreme weather conditions. Please come prepared for the elements, whether it’s rainy or hot.
