Remember the glory of wintertime as a kid? Bundling up to build a
snowman. Wishing for days off from school. Crunching snow mounds with
your boots. For families in need, however, a Massachusetts winter can be
debilitating. No child should have to wait at the bus stop in
below-freezing temperatures without warm clothing.


Cradles to
Crayons is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the 1 in 3
children in Massachusetts who are experiencing clothing insecurity. Our
volunteer shift in The Giving Factory Warehouse will involve hands-on
processing of the donated goods that flow in on a regular basis. We will work on inspecting, sorting, and packaging donations to ultimately be distributed to those children in need.
