The Beacon is a local, non-profit, homeless services organization which provides daily services plus legal aid and counseling to help end homelessness in our city. We will be volunteering at the Day Center, wherever we are needed most–most likely laundry or kitchen duty. The group is limited to 20 people, ages 13+, so RSVP with Mikki ASAP to secure your spot!

As with all our volunteer events, our shift will be followed with lunch and maybe even an impromptu architectural tour of the POST.

In tandem with our servicework, CAAGH is also hosting a fundraiser to raise a minimum of $500 for the Beacon’s Day Center, in order to cover the meals offered the day of our shift.
