LOCATION: Alameda County Food Bank, 7900 Edgewater Drive, Oakland, CA

Friday afternoon at the Food Bank, and picnic afterward.
ADDRESS: 7900 Edgewater Dr Oakland, CA 94621 We’ll gather from 12-3 and learn about food insecurity in the East Bay, sort and box food in the warehouse, and understand how Cornellians can help their community through advocacy for food justice year round.
Wear close-toed shoes and layers, hair tied back. You will need to sign a COVID-disclaimer before the event, and masks are encouraged indoors.
We’ll walk together down the street to the Edge Water Park Plaza for snacks and beverages.
Parking: Park in the back, in the lot by the building with the Community Engagement Center sign. For everyone’s safety, drive slowly and carefully as you head to the parking lot. We enforce a 5-mph speed limit. The entrance is beneath the orange awning, in front of the parking lot.
