Understanding the Relationship Between Young Alumni & Philanthropy: Applications in Digital Engagement

September 5, 2018 | Ithaca, NY

About the Round Table:

Young Alumni giving is critical to institutions small and large—as a university’s alumni base changes, our approaches must as well. The Understanding the Relationship Between Young Alumni & Philanthropy round table is an opportunity to take a deep dive in discussion about what attitudes young alumni hold about giving and philanthropy as a whole, and how these attitudes translate into what universities can offer in a changing digital landscape.

What to Expect:

  • There are two tracks for this event: the full-day participation, and the keynote speech only.
    • The full-day track includes participation in the AM Round table sessions. This is limited to 30 participants, where participants are giving a 10 minute presentation on recent initiatives/emerging trends in the young alumni digital space.
    • The afternoon keynote—presented by Elise Betz from University of Pennsylvania—will be opened up (audience size of 75), and focus on creating and gaining support for a robust young alumni program.
  • Both the morning round table and the afternoon keynote are open to CASE District II members, as all as staff from other CASE member institutions.
  • When registering, you can choose full-day ($50) or keynote-only ($10) participation.
