Please join us in a conversation with Seth Bramson (Cornell Hotel ’69) about the history of Miami. Light refreshments will be served.

 

About Seth: Seth is the author of 33 books covering Florida history, with a 34th in the works about the history of North Fort Lauderdale. There is no one better to lead a conversation about how Miami has evolved over the years than the single most-published Florida history book author! Seth is also America’s senior collector of Florida East Coast Railway (FEC), Florida transportation memorabilia, Miami memorabilia and Floridiana, and has been collecting for over 65 years now. His Bramson Archive is now the largest collection of FEC Railway and Florida transportation memorabilia in the world and the largest collection of Miami memorabilia and Floridiana in private hands. He holds Master’s degrees from St. Thomas University and Florida International University and he is currently Adjunct Professor of History and Historian in Residence at Barry University in Miami Shores, as well as Adjunct Professor of History at the Nova Southeastern University Lifelong Learning Institute. In addition, during the winter seasons, he teaches history for the Road Scholar (former Elderhostel) Program.
