Please join us for the Cornell Club of Boston’s premier event of the year, the Annual Keynote Reception at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge. Enjoy connecting with fellow Cornellians over heavy appetizers and drinks. The Cornell Club of Boston is excited to welcome this year’s keynote speaker, Linda Shi, Assistant Professor at Cornell University’s Department of City and Regional Planning. Speaking on climate change and how it unequally affects different people given their individual, housing and city characteristics, Dr. Shi will explore how cities’ efforts to adapt to climate change can exacerbate or mitigate the inequities in our communities and offer potential steps we can take towards greater fairness. The second part of our program will include voting on this year’s slate of Cornell Club of Boston board members and some CCOB updates for the months ahead.
