The 50th Anniversary of the Occupation of Willard Straight Hall – Then & Now
Join us as we close the weekend with a community brunch featuring Ms. Irene Smalls ’71, founder of the Wari Cooperative (Wari House). She will reflect on her time on campus and the changes in climate and culture as a result of the Willard Straight Hall Occupation in 1969. We will also remember the life and legacy of the late Gloria Joseph, PhD ‘67, the inaugural director of the Committee on Special Education Projects (COSEP).
