Professor Adrian von Buttlar of the Technical University Berlin will open the exhibition and will also be holding the UK launch of his guide to the architecture of Leo von Klenze during the evening. Professor von Buttlar who studied in Munich and at the Courtauld Institute is an authority on Leo von Klenze and has previously published a major biography and study of his work. He will give a brief talk revealing details he has discovered of von Klenze’s three visits to London.
