Join Julie Edwards, Director, Skorton Center for Health Initiatives for a special presentation discussing the Okanagan Charter and Cornell University’s goal to become a Health-Promoting Campus. Julie Edwards brings has over 20 years of experience providing strategic, operational, and organizational leadership in academic and community health environments. In addition to her work at the University of Chicago, Julie is passionate about public health and all it entails, from assessing the needs of communities to implementing evidence-informed strategies to evaluating the impact on overall populations. Julie enjoys bringing diverse people together to work towards shared goals and she thrives when collaborating with others. She feels systems-level work is critical to support campus well-being and looks forward to how Cornell can lead this work in the future of our field.

Following the presentation and Q&A, stay online with Bruce Korus and the Cornell Club of Wisconsin to discuss “The stressed years of their lives – Helping your kid survive and thrive during their college years” by Janet Hibbs.
