The pandemic may not exactly be a distant memory yet, but the International Spirit of Zinck’s Night is back on October 21! If you’re ready to gather again, don your favorite Cornell gear and head to the North Gate / Voyager area for some fun!

Nosh from small bites to full entrees and a full butcher shop with local aged meats. Add a pano view of the mountains and great vibe and it’s a prime location to spend a fine evening.

No cost to attend but registration required; limited to 25 total vaccinated attendees. Food and beverage available for purchase at the restaurant.

Date: Thursday, October 21, 2021
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Location: Beasts & Brews, 7 Spectrum Loop, Colorado Springs, CO 80921

Theodore Zinck was a saloonkeeper in Ithaca and his pub, the Hotel Brunswick, was a popular gathering place for Cornellians in the 1890s. After his death in 1903, several bars using his name continued to provide a haven for students. When the last “Zinck’s†closed in the mid-60s, celebrating the spirit of Zinck’s became a favorite Thursday night Collegetown tradition of undergraduates. It wasn’t long afterwards that Cornellians continued the tradition in their hometowns.
