Special Charity Concert and Art Show Performances at the Marshall Gallery of Fine Art with solo performance by rising star concert pianist Tavit Tashjian

Come hear the rising-star concert pianist Tavit Tashjian make a special appearance in Scottsdale on Friday, October 27, at the Marshall Gallery of Fine Art. Tavit has soloed with symphonies across the United States and is receiving accolades for his performances, which have been praised as “brilliant” and “energetic and virtuosic.”

In addition to the concert, there will be a special art show featuring fine art presentations by prominent artists of paintings, drawings, sculpture and jewelry. The artists and arts groups are collaborating to raise funds under a program called, “ArtWürks for Charity”, which will dedicate 100% of its net proceeds to support programs that create jobs and provide therapeutic music and dance enrichment activities for vulnerable groups, such as persons with developmental disabilities.

The Phoenix Ivy Council is partnering with the several public and private sponsors to offer a healthy assortment of tasty appetizers and wine for a special reception before the concert. The reception will be from 6:00 PM – 6:50 PM prior to the concert and art show, which will start at 7:00 PM.  This reception is being generously sponsored by Malee’s Thai Bistro.

For the evening’s concert program, Tavit will play selections from: Beethoven Moonlight Sonata op. 27 no. 2; Chopin Ballade no. 1 op. 23; and Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition.

The cost for the concert, art show and reception is only $40.  Please purchase tickets in advance since space is limited and we anticipate selling out well in advance of the concert.  We do not anticipate any tickets will be available the week of the concert.  Purchase tickets here or via the Phoenix Ivy Council website.
