CCSM Celebrate Our Local Students and Parents with speaker Elaine Westbrooks, Cornell Librarian. On This Rock: Why Democracies Need Libraries and Archives

Elaine Westbrooks is the Carl A Kroch University Librarian and Vice Provost at Cornell University. She is responsible for the leadership and general administration of the University Library and Cornell Free Press which includes over 15 libraries and 400 librarians, archivists and staff.

Elaine will present “On This Rock: Why Democracies Need Libraries and Archives”. Local students currently enrolled and just admitted via Early Decision will be invited to join us, along with their parents/guardians, and will attend gratis. We will hear from the Chairs of The Scholarship and Admissions/CAAAN Committees.
