Our next monthly Cornell Technology Business networking lunch will be held on March 11th.
Our meeting host will be CEAA Liaison, Greg Powers ’85 and facility host is John Paik EE’94 & JD ’01, Partner Knobbe & Marten. Sponsored by the
Cornell Engineering Alumni Association, anyone with an interest in
business and/or technology and/or entrepreneurship and/or Cornell
University is welcome to join us.

TIME: Registration/Greetings 11:30 – Noon, Lunch Noon to 1 PM
Please join your fellow alumni and friends in a social setting for networking, discussing technology trends, and finding out what’s new at Cornell.
Whether you can attend or not, Greg is interested in your thoughts on topics and speakers that could interest more alumni. This could be having a speaker who speaks or maybe a speaker whose podcast can be listened to before lunch and allow more questions and discussions or sometimes inviting alumni from other peer engineering and technology schools. About Greg Powers MAE’85: Greg is the General Manager of Hub365 which provides operational and technical solutions to companies looking to transform their current technology to a cloud-based service solution. Greg has a great deal of experience in business development of technology-based companies from Edgeware to Material Science, Greg is also active with Axiom Materials, a leading provider of ceramic, carbon, and glass composite materials in aerospace and industrial markets Greg has a BS in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and served as a submarine Naval Officer after graduation.
About John Paik EE’94 LAW ’01: John is a thought-leader on the trends in Intellectual Property Law regarding mechatronics, such a robotics and medical robotics. John holds a EE degree from the Cornell College of Engineering and a JD from Cornell Law. John also has an MS in Physiological Science from UCLA.
