Kick off the Summer with a relaxing day on a North Fork wine tour with fellow NYC area Alumni! Our chartered bus departing from Manhattan will visit 3 vineyards, where we’ll enjoy wine flights and your choice of a gourmet boxed lunch. We’ll also make a stop at Briermere Farms (time permitting) and return the same evening in time for weekend festivities.

The boxed lunch comes in the following choices (please select your choice during registration):

1. Grilled Vegetable Sandwich: Grilled Eggplant, Zucchini, Roasted Red Peppers and Pesto on Basil Bread
2. Grilled Steak Sandwich: Grilled Steak with Gorgonzola Mayonnaise, Melted Swiss Cheese on Garlic Bread
3. Grilled Chicken Sandwich: Grilled Chicken breast, Fresh mozzarella cheese, tomato, roasted red peppers on brick oven bread drizzled with roasted garlic virgin olive oil.
4. Prosciutto Sandwich: thinly sliced imported Prosciutto di Parma with fresh mozzarella cheese, drizzled with roasted garlic virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar on fresh Italian bread.
5. Caesar Salad: Grilled chicken breast served on romaine hearts with grape tomatoes, thinly sliced red onions, cucumbers, shaved Romano cheese with homemade classic Caesar dressing and our house croutons.
6. Arugula Salad: baby arugula, endive red onions, grape tomatoes, marinated artichoke hearts, roasted pignoli nuts and croutons in a homemade house balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
7. Gluten Free Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken breast (without marinade) served on romaine hearts, chickpeas, almonds, raisins, with homemade house balsamic vinaigrette dressing on the side.

Cost: $100 includes bus, wine tastings, and boxed lunch.

Departure Details:  

Stop One NYC: Bus departs from the Cornell Club at 9 a.m. Please plan on arriving at 8:45am to the Cornell Club,
6 E 44th St, New York, NY 10017.*

Stop Two – Long Island: Bus departs 9:45 a.m NYS DOT Park & Ride off Long Island Expressway (I495) Exit 49
located at North Service Road between Pinelawn Road and NY Route 110. Please plan on arriving at 9:30 a.m.

Arrival Details: The bus will return to NYS Dot Park & Ride off Long Island Expressway (I495) Exit 49 at 5:15 p.m. and New York City and the Cornell Club at 6 p.m.

*Note: The Cornell Club-New York has graciously offered the loading zone in front of the Club as a departure location. It is a members only club. Alumni who are non-members will not be able to store luggage, use the restrooms, buy food or drinks, etc. Further, due to New York City regulations the Club is unable to block off the loading zone specifically for the bus. In the event that the loading zone is full, the bus will load as close to the Club as possible.
