NYC Cornellians: Long Island Wine Tour
Warm yourself up on a crisp Fall day with a wine tour on the North Fork with fellow NYC area alumni! Our chartered bus departing from Manhattan (with a pickup in Long Island) will visit 3 vineyards, where we’ll enjoy wine tastings and a boxed lunch. We’ll also make a stop at Briermere Farms (time permitting) and return the same evening in time for weekend festivities.

Time: 8: 15 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
Cost: $100 includes bus, wine tastings, and boxed lunch.
Departure Details:
Stop One NYC: Bus departs from Bryant Park (42nd St & 5th Ave across the street from Zara) at 8:15 a.m. Please plan on arriving at 8:00 a.m.
Stop Two Long Island: Bus departs 9:15 a.m. NYS DOT Park & Ride off Long Island Expressway (I495) Exit 49 located at North Service Road between Pinelawn Road and NY Route 110. Please plan on arriving at 9:00 a.m.
Arrival Details: The bus will return to NYS DOT Park & Ride off Long Island Expressway (I495) Exit 49 at 4:15 p.m. and New York City and Bryant Park at 5:15 a.m.
Boxed Lunch options:
• Sorrento Panini – Rosemary garlic bread, breaded chicken, spinach, sundried tomato pesto, Provolone with pasta salad
• Pronto – Breaded eggplant, yellow tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, splash of balsamic reduction on ciabatta Bread with a pasta salad
• Vegetable Panini – Ciabatta bread grilled zucchini, eggplant, roasted peppers, goat cheese, basil pesto and side salad
• Maria Panini – Breaded chicken, breaded artichoke hearts, basil pesto, fresh mozzarella on rosemary roll with a Sun dried tomato pasta salad
• Bronson Panini – Grilled steak, caramelized onions, Portobello mushrooms, balsamic glaze, Swiss On a sour dough roll with potato salad
• Sliced Steak Sandwich – Grilled and served on French bread with garlic seasoning, melted mozzarella, tomato with a spring mix side salad
• Bonfire Wrap – Grilled chicken, bbq sauce, avocado, cheddar cheese, bacon, red onions with pasta
