Join NYC Cornellians on a perfect day trip to Cornellian-owned Dressel Farms in New Paltz in the Hudson Valley. Upon arriving at the orchard, we’ll be greeted with sweet cider and cider donuts, learn about the orchard and its operation from one of the Dressel family Cornellian alumni, and then we’ll be off to explore the farm with its beautiful view of the Shawangunk mountains.

Enjoy hay rides, pick apples (1/2 peck of apples included per person over 12), and eat a farm-fresh buffet lunch catered by Cornell alum Molly Crist. On the buffet: quinoa summer vegetable salad, corn-black bean-red pepper-avocado salad with chipotle vinaigrette, local greens with honey mustard vinaigrette, sliced tomatoes with goat cheese almond balls, grilled chicken, and rounded off with mint iced tea. Also available (optionally and paid separately): hard cider tastings, more cider donuts, produce at the farmstand, and desserts from the ice cream stand. It’s sure to be a beautiful day on the farm!

Please note: Cornellians and friends can take a bus from NYC with us (leaving at 10am from Bryant Park in Manhattan and returning around 5pm) OR drive separately and on their own (arriving at the farm around 12pm and finishing the day around 3pm).
