Please join the Cornell Club of Long Island in our annual celebration of the International Spirit of Zinck’s Night on October 16, 2025!

The world-renowned night of spirited revelry was founded in honor of Ithaca saloon keeper Theodore Zinck and is held each year on the third Thursday of October.

History of Zinck’s Night: In the late 19th century, Theodore Zinck owned a popular bar, the Hotel Brunswick, in downtown Ithaca, known for its five-cent draughts and warm atmosphere for local Cornell students.  After Zinck’s death in 1903, various venues bearing his name continued to serve as gathering places for Cornellians.  When the last “Zinck’s” bar closed in the mid-1960s, Cornell undergraduates carried on the spirit of Zinck’s by gathering on Thursday nights, a tradition that expanded to alumni in their hometowns.

This year, Street to Table will hold the honor of hosting the Cornell Club of LI, all Cornell alum and any of the greater Cornell community and their guests (aged 21+).
