SUMMARY:Long Island - Zinck's Night 2025
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Cornell Club of Long Island in our annual celebration of the International Spirit of Zinck’s Night on October 16\, 2025! \nThe world-renowned night of spirited revelry was founded in honor of Ithaca saloon keeper Theodore Zinck and is held each year on the third Thursday of October.  \nHistory of Zinck’s Night: In the late 19th century\, Theodore Zinck owned a popular bar\, the Hotel Brunswick\, in downtown Ithaca\, known for its five-cent draughts and warm atmosphere for local Cornell students.  After Zinck’s death in 1903\, various venues bearing his name continued to serve as gathering places for Cornellians.  When the last “Zinck’s” bar closed in the mid-1960s\, Cornell undergraduates carried on the spirit of Zinck’s by gathering on Thursday nights\, a tradition that expanded to alumni in their hometowns.      \nThis year\, Street to Table will hold the honor of hosting the Cornell Club of LI\, all Cornell alum and any of the greater Cornell community and their guests (aged 21+).   \nEvent Host:\nStreet to Table \nStreet to Table is conveniently located near several major highways and LIRR stations\, with vast on-site parking.  \nLocation: Street to Table (Huntington Station\, NY) — 350 Walt Whitman Road #26\, Huntington Station\, NY 11746  \nMore information on the venue here: https://streettotableny.com/menu/stth     \nEvent Details:\n– Free admission for the first twenty-five (25) confirmed registrants \n– Admission includes complimentary appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages \n– Alcoholic beverages and other items are NOT sponsored by the CCLI or any Cornell program.  \n– Wristbands/drink tickets/other items are available for purchase \n– Select food and beverage specials may be offered through third-party sponsorships (as to be determined at the time of the event and depending on attendee turnout).  \nEvent Details:\nDate: Thursday\, October 16\, 2025\nTime: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.\nLocation: Street to Table (Huntington Station\, NY) — 350 Walt Whitman Road #26\, Huntington Station\, NY 11746 \nCost: Free for the first 25 registrants (FULL) | $15 for Recent Alumni (classes of 2016-2025) | $25 General Fee \nEvent Questions? \nContact: \nBrahm Pillai (brahm@pillaicapital.com) \nMorgan Lannig (mjl385@cornell.edu)
