Join the Cornell Military Network (CMN) for a session about the impact alumni can have on Cornell’s military affiliated students. We will begin with a introduction to the CMN, host a short panel discussion with two young alumni in uniform and a current student veteran, and finish up with a Q&A from the audience.

Moderator:

Brodrick Bailey CIPA ’99 was an Air Defense Officer in the Army before coming to Cornell. He went on to teach at West Point and eventually retired from the Army as a Public Affairs Officer in 2010. He is currently a consultant in the Washington DC area.

Panelists:


Charlotte Levine ‘17 graduated as one of the top 10 Army ROTC cadets in the country before becoming one of the first female armor officers in the U.S. Army. She led tank and scout platoons and served as a tank company executive officer in the 4th Infantry Division, and she is currently a Captain serving on the 4th Infantry Division’s General Staff.


Piragash Swargaloganathan ‘19 was a Navy corpsman before attending Cornell to study Human Biology, Health, and Society. He is now attending the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences as an Ensign in the Navy Medical Corps.


Chris Gyurgyik ‘21 was a field artillery Marine, and he is currently studying computer science in the College of Arts and Sciences. After graduation, he plans to join Google as a software engineer.
