Miss those great intellectual discussions you used to have on the Hill with fellow Cornell students? Let’s have those fun and intelligent conversations here in NYC.

Topic of the night: How can science be compatible with non-science (religion, spirituality, etc).

I’d like to posit that science is actually compatible with non-science, which I define as “Religion, spirituality, and theoretical philosophy†— I explain my argument in the brief paper below. I will highlight the argument at the beginning of the evening, and we will discuss whether this or some other methodology will allow science to be compatible with non-science (not to be confused with nonsense, which a lot of people think non-science is!)

Here is my argument for how science can be compatible with non-science. Let’s discuss this and alternative reasons that science can or can not be compatible with non-science.

Fees collected will be used towards dinner and drinks for those who attend.
