Talk from Professor Campanella
The Cornell Alumni Association of Westchester welcomes Professor Thomas J. Campanella, who will explore the public-works innovations in 1920’s Westchester County that paved the way for the motoring revolution that changed the face of New York City and the nation at large. He will highlight the work of two Cornellians, Gilmore D. Clarke ’13 and Michael Rapuano ’27, who shaped Westchester’s parks and parkways, and in so doing, dramatically changed Westchester — and New York City.
