Guided Group hike limited to first 20 sign-ups. Join the Cornell Asian Alumni Association as we enjoy the warmer weather by hiking Mount Beacon! Guided by Jackie Chen ’11, alumni can hike one of two different trails up Mount Beacon, followed by food in the area. Transportation options to Beacon are included below. Alumni will meet up starting at 11:00 a.m. Please send your phone number to jakiiieee@gmail.com so that we can contact you the day of the event. Transportation Options
By car Drive to the Mount Beacon parking lot at 788 Wolcott Ave, Beacon, NY 12508. Arrive early to make sure you can secure a parking spot. Arrive at Mount Beacon Trailhead, Beacon, NY 12508 by 11AM.
By train Take the MTA to Grand Central Terminal and then take the Metro North Railroad to Beacon Train Station to arrive by 10:21AM. Take the free LOOP bus to Stop 3 (Howland Avenue) and arrive by 11 AM. There is a bus leaving at 10:25 AM and 10:50 AM. Alternatively, walk one mile to arrive at Mount Beacon Trailhead, Beacon, NY 125-08 by 11AM. Registration
