Hike for Hospice, an annual and major fundraising event for the Society for the Promotion of HospiceCare (SPHC) will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2017. There will be a new category – The Alumni Challenge.

In support of this worthy cause, Cornell Club HK would like to invite alumni and friends to form teams of four to represent Cornell to race along the 14 km scenic trails of Tai Lam Country Park for an excellent cause, and also kindly encourage direct potential sponsors. Cornell Club HK will sponsor 10% of the enrollment fee for each team as a token of the Club’s support. Various levels of athletic fitness are welcome. You don’t need to be a marathon runner to be part of a team. Some of us are planning to walk the 14km!

Since 2012, the majority of funds raised have supported the establishment of the Jockey Club Home for Hospice (JCHH), the first-of-its-kind family-oriented hospice residence bringing forth a new era in fulfilling “When days cannot be added to life, add life to days”.
