Event Details

Considering a home garden makeover? Have your flowerbeds become the feeding ground for the local deer population? Join us on an exclusive tour of Jenkins Arboretum with local alumna, Amy McLean, MLA ’12 as she educates us on native plants that thrive in this region and shares ideas that can add a little pizzazz to your home garden. She will share cultural tips, stories and note which plants are more or less deer resistant.

Attendees will meet Amy in the parking lot of Jenkins Arboretum. This is a family friendly activity. The guided walk will begin promptly at 10am and will last approximately one hour. We hope to see you there!
