The panelists will each share their own stories, along with their career development and recruitment expertise. You will leave with best practices and valuable tips for taking on industry and role transitions. Take a step toward steering your career where you want to go in 2019!

TIME: 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Wine and cheese reception/networking, featuring wine from Warwick Valley Winery & cheese from Murray’s Cheese (both Cornell alumni-owned businesses).
6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Panelist presentation, Q&A session, and networking continued.

COST: General attendees: $20.00, Young Alumni $15.00 (Classes of 2009-2018). Includes wine and cheese reception.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES:

LYNN ZUCKERMAN GRAY is the Founder and CEO of Campus Scout, LLC, a Certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise, which is an innovative provider of strategic campus and recent graduate recruiting services, career coaching for young professionals and bespoke training programs for employers, all focused on the Millennial and Z generations.  Ms. Gray has a long history in the Law, financial services and the academic world.  Prior to founding Campus Scout, she was with Lehman Brothers for more than eleven years, where she served as the Real Estate Group’s Global Chief Administrative Officer.  A graduate of Tufts University and the Cornell Law School, she serves on the Advisory Board of the Cornell Baker Program in Real Estate and on the Board of the Cornell Real Estate Council. She is a frequent speaker on campus at Cornell, has taught courses at Fordham and NYU and is a Certified Facilitator for the Kauffman Foundation’s Entrepreneurship training programs. She recently served as a Mentor for WE NYC (Women Entrepreneurs NYC), an arm of the New York City Department of Small Business Services.
 
BRIGITTE OVIEDO serves as Head of Professional Development at Cooper & Cooper Real Estate, a premier residential real estate brokerage firm based in Midtown Manhattan.  A lifelong New Yorker, Brigitte was raised on Long Island and traveled upstate for school, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development at Cornell University (2005).  She went on to earn a Juris Doctor at Hofstra University School of Law, and is admitted to the bar in the State of New York (2009) and the US District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts (2009).  Upon her graduation, Brigitte worked as a staff attorney with Pieper Bar Review, assisting law students in their preparations for the New York Bar Exam. Brigitte also practiced law in New York City before finding Cooper & Cooper and deciding to pursue her true passion, real estate. 
 
KHARA KELSCH is the Attorney Development Manager at Goodwin Procter LLP working closely with the New York attorneys on talent management and professional development. After practicing law at a big firm for several years, Khara left practice to pursue her passion of coaching and developing attorneys. Prior to Goodwin, Khara held roles at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in their Professional Development Department, as well as at Hofstra Law School, where she served as the Director of Career Development providing counseling to students on career path, job search, and interview strategy. Khara is a graduate of the ILR School at Cornell University and holds her Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School, Class of 2008. She remains an active member of the Cornell Law School Alumni Helping Alumni Network as well as the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network.
