Event Details

Dear Alumnae:  If it’s spring, we’re celebrating the Cornell journey, from Slope Day to Commencement, to making your mark on the world (or the universe) to coming back home for Reunion in Ithaca!

Lisa Ullmann ’81 and Monique van Perlstein ’81 helped launch the central New Jersey Cornell Women’s Network “Coffee with Cornellians” by graciously hosting our first two meetings, and I am delighted to join them as host and welcome you to my home in Matawan.

Guests at our inaugural Coffee had identified risk-taking and life and career transitions as topics they would enjoy discussing with fellow alumnae.  My journey has taken me from on-air anchor to C-suite executive to the founder of my own “passion project” company, with parenting thrown into the mix – it will be my honor to start that conversation with observations and tips I’ve gained along the way.

And as always, we’ll have good and important news from campus to share – perhaps some of you will just be home from Reunion.  I look forward to seeing you in June!

Best wishes, Jenn

About Coffee with Cornellians:
We know that stay-at-home moms, professionals with alternative working hours, and retired alumnae cannot always fit Cornell’s evening and weekend events into their schedules. Our mid-morning Coffee with Cornellians events offer opportunities for networking and intelligent conversation on relevant topics that you can drop in on after getting the kids to school, after exercise, before or after work or volunteer activities. We host three Coffee with Cornellians over the year, each including an update on Cornell today and each focusing on a topic of particular interest to alumnae in our community. Join us!
