Re-framing the “future of work” as the “work of the future” with Cathy Engelbert, CEO of Deloitte US

Please join us for a very special guest, Cathy Engelbert, Deloitte US CEO.

Cathy’s talk at After Hours will be on re-framing the “future of work” as the “work of the future” – something she sees as exciting and visionary, and a topic she most recently addressed with leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos. She’ll touch on three crucial pieces that will take us there: (1) how companies embrace automation and artificial intelligence, (2) rethinking how companies can reinforce and enhance the human element, and (3) how companies build the organization of the future.

Cathy Engelbert leads one of the largest professional services organizations in the United States with more than 85,000 audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory professionals serving over 80 percent of the Fortune 500. She is chair of the Center for Audit Quality Governing Board, chair of Catalyst, and a vice chair of the Partnership for New York City. Cathy is listed as one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women for the last three years.

On becoming CEO for Deloitte, this rendered Cathy the first female U.S. CEO of a Big Four firm. News media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal highlighted Engelbert’s appointment as cracking the “glass ceiling.”

This event will be at Norwood, a private arts club in a beautiful 5-floor Chelsea townhouse that brings together creatives from the NYC community for talks and events, such as speaking engagements, art classes, film screenings, music performances, cocktail tastings and culinary experiences.
