It’s time again for the annual Cornell Pride Siegel Awards! Each year, Cornell Pride honors exemplary LGBTQIA+ alumni in honor of Steven W. Siegel ’68, who was Cornell Pride’s (then CUGALA) leader of 25+ years.

Siegel was the first openly gay recipient of the Frank H.T. Rhodes Award for Exemplary Alumni Service. We continue Siegel’s legacy by recognizing and celebrating those who embody Siegel’s values of service to and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community.

This year – for the first time – we are thrilled to be presenting awards in three categories:
Siegel Award Winner: Digit Murphy ’83
Young Alumni Achievement Award Winner: Daniel Kuhr ’13
Student Leader Award Winner: Lemon Nawrocki ’23

Join us and our honorees in beautiful and iconic San Francisco for a weekend of celebration in Pride month!

The Siegel Award Luncheon will be held from noon to 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 17th at Sessions at the Presidio. Entrance fee is $160. Food, drinks, breath-taking views and merry company included with entry. Proceeds from the celebration will support the LGBT Resource Center.

We are also gathering for brunch on Sunday, June 18th at 620 Jones. Let us know to expect you – don’t forget to bring your wallet, appetite and a fabulous attitude!
