Join Cornell Pride (CUGALA) as we celebrate NYC Pride!

In addition to virtual event recommendations for you all, we are also pleased to provide several small in-person gatherings in NYC on the culminating day of their Pride Celebration. Please note that the first event will have a very limited registration, and although all suggested events will take place outside, since we will be in an urban area social distancing options may be limited.

Please consider your vaccination status and comfort level before registering:

Pride Gathering in Brooklyn (Bed-Stuy) 1:00 – 4:00pm We’ll begin our Pride celebration at a private gathering in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn. One of our board members has generously offered their outdoor patio space for this event, so don’t miss out on this unique opportunity! Wear red, wear your favorite Pride gear, and bring what you need for food and drink to come celebrate with us!

PrideFest (Manhattan- 4th Ave between 9th and 13th Streets) 4:30 – 6:30pm We’ll be heading over to the hub of all things Pride, Greenwich Village for 4:30pm! You can join us from Brooklyn, or meet us at/near PrideFest for that time (alternate meeting location to be posted at a later date). We’ll be checking out the vendors and enjoying the sites and fun before we move on to our last stop of the day.

Evening Drinks with Cornell Pride Refinery Rooftop – 63 W 38th St. Manhattan 7:00 – 9:00pm Let’s enjoy the sunset from a rooftop, shall we? We had a great time with many of you at Refinery Rooftop a couple Prides ago, so we’re excited to return! Notable of this location is that the rooftop area is not enclosed, so we will be keeping with our outside approach to the day. Refinery is also located fairly close to the trains (MetroNorth, LIRR, Amtrak) for anyone traveling at the end of this momentous day.
