Last April, we partnered with the Harvard Beijing Club and visited the seniors at the Beishatan Community Center (朝阳区北沙滩社区)  to help them practice oral English. The seniors warmly received us, and we had a very fun and interesting afternoon. We will be visiting the seniors again on Oct. 29 (Saturday) and would love to have you come!

The seniors are enthusiastic about improving their oral English out of personal interest or because their children are abroad. They are at junior-high English proficiency level, taking weekly English classes taught by volunteers. We will be divided into groups to chat with the seniors in English. This will be a great way to give back to the community while meeting new friends. More details below.
