In the spirit of giving back to the community, the Cornell Club of Wisconsin invites you to join us in the annual Cornell Cares National Day of service event at Kathy’s House on January 7, 2017.

The Cornell Club of Wisconsin, along with help from an Ithaca favorite with a local presence, Maxie’s Southern Comfort restaurant, plans to host / serve lunch and perform other volunteer services for Kathy’s House. Please join the Cornell Club of Wisconsin for an opportunity to connect with Cornellians past and present while impacting our community.

Kathy’s House is a “Hospital Hospitality House,” created in memory of Kathy Vogel Kuettner, a young wife and mother of three whose battle with an aggressive form of lymphoma ended with her death in July 2000. Kathy’s family and friends worked tirelessly to open the doors one year later on July 1, 2001. The result was Kathy’s House, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization operating a hospital hospitality house in her memory. Ultimately, Kathy House’s mission is to be a “Home Away From Home” for a family or family member in need of hospital care in the Milwaukee Area.
