A few times each year, we are fortunate to see Ivy League sports matches televised. And it just so happens that there’s another such opportunity coming up!

The game is men’s football, the opponent is the Penn Quakers, the day is next Friday (2 November), and here comes the unfortunate part: The time is 4 PM. That might be a little early for some of us with day jobs, but hopefully there’s enough flexibility in our schedules to check out a little early!

To make the game a little more fun, we will be joined by the local Penn club down at Fiddler’s Elbow in Sugar House (1063 E 2100 S in SLC). If the venue sounds familiar, it’s been host to a number of All-Ivy Plus events and our own Zinck’s Nights, and is probably the closest thing we have to a Cornell bar in Utah (we have a banner hanging from the rafters, so that qualifies, right?).

Fiddler’s has a huge TV which I’ve secured (I think?) for our purposes, and depending on the size of the group, we can either kick back on the comfy sofas or grab a couple of tables. Either way, be sure to dig your favorite Cornell sweatshirt out of the closet and come prepared to cheer on the Big Red!
