The men’s lacrosse team did it! While they beat Syracuse handily in the regular season, the tournament rematch was a close one, with Cornell trailing by one (or even two) goals for almost the entire game. However, in the end, the Big Red rallied to prevail over the Orangemen, advancing us to the quarterfinal round!

That means that this Sunday we will be looking to do it again! This time the game will be at 10:00 AM Mountain time, when we’ll be facing the #1-ranked University of Maryland. A much tougher opponent, but bigger upsets have happened, right? Once again the game will be televised on ESPN U, and I’ll be catching it at Fiddler’s Elbow in Sugar House. Incidentally, Fiddler’s has a pretty good Sunday brunch buffet—what better way to cheer on our lacrosse team?
