Event Details

Location: Toronto, ON

The Cornell Club of Toronto invites you to an exclusive storytelling walking tour of the Toronto Biennial of Art by artist Nadijah Robinson.  Rather than a curatorial tour of selected works, a storytelling session seeks to shift the conversation of contemporary art away from conventional modes of interpreting to narrating and embodying through weekly walks and conversations. An intergenerational and multilingual group of storytellers share personal insights and experiences of the city as they guide visitors through the Exhibition’s installations, research, and political perspectives. Taking us along hidden river routes, through archives, and into speculative futures, storytellers bring submerged narratives related to Toronto’s shifting shoreline to the surface.

This is a family-friendly event and kids under 12 free. Snacks to follow tour. We hope to see you there!

When: Sunday, Oct 27th, 11:45 AM – 2:00 PM, snacks after tour
Where: Meet at the entrance of 259 Lake Shore Drive East, within the Adrian Blackwell structure
Tickets: $15
